I had the same problem after I got to level 12 in a character and then realised that the hair colour was wrong for the skintone. I tried to struggle through but I ended up giving in and restarting. >.>
I haven’t really progressed that far, so I’m thinking of starting again 8(

TAKE THE HELMET OFF. Find other helmet. Or get used to having grizzly character helmet hair. :3
It’s difficult once a person emotionally invests into a character they’ve created. It’s how the game wants you to feel. Ugh.
